Finally after many, many days of rain, SUN! My sister and I started slowly getting things picked up, a few weeds pulled, herbs, and flowers planted. The trees are budding, leaves are beginning to show and the weather is heating up. I LOVE SPRING.

Before the work began I walked around and noticing things that need to be trashed. The daffodils, the seed pods, the dried mushroom, and the twigs grabbed my attention.

These images were created in my make-shift studio.

My favorite by far was the twigs. They were leftover from some plant my sister had last year. When I picked them up I saw little trees. I am so glad that I grabbed them before she trashed them and I was able to get this image.

The back of the daffodil had such a delicate flow to it. The greens flowed gracefully into the white with the texture adding subtle elegance.

I just loved the seed pod. I am not sure what type of tree it fell from, but they were all over the ground. This one was just starting the pop and shed its seeds. I think there will be a lot of killing of unwanted trees.

As you can tell by the size (it was BIG), this mushroom had been around long enough that it was dried out. Just look at all that texture and color. Isn’t it just wonderful?

Now on to more clean-up…..and more spring images.
